I just wanted to send along a quick note to let you know how impressed I was with the facilities there. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. It was overall the best experience I have attended for this type of event. Kudos to you and all the employees at the Hamilton Convention Centre.

The level of professionalism and commitment from staff all the way down the line was amazing. There wasn't one time when someone couldn't help meet any of our needs.
I really can't see holding a conference in Hamilton anywhere but the Convention Centre.

OCHEC Convention Exhibit Hall Coordinator
For the past 5 years our organization, The Ontario Christian Home Educators’ Connection (OCHEC), has been a client of the HCC. We organize an annual 2 day convention which services approximately 1,300 home educating registrants, exhibitors and speakers and utilizes large portions of your 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors. Our volunteer staff has nothing but glowing reports for your HCC personnel. Their standard of service, attentiveness to detail, timely intervention to solve problems and willingness to provide assistance at short notice is outstanding. We have experienced this across the employee spectrum: Brian and Tony in Security, Ian in Maintenance, Jeneane on the Front Desk, Sue and Rose in Conference Services, the food service staff….all have served us well over the years.
Leading the team by example is Jean Bulluss – I cannot speak highly enough regarding her. Jean is a credit to your hospitality industry and an ambassador for your facility. She is courteous, friendly and provides clear and timely communication. Each year we look forward to our interaction with her and have great confidence in her continuing to enable us to provide a high caliber, professional conference for our home educating families. I recommend her to you.

You could not ask for anything more perfect than what we were given. I heard so many comments on the set up of the event room, the staff, the food, the cleanliness and all the little added touches. After 4 years at The Hamilton Convention Centre, Food & Drink Fest…the Festival with Taste is moving to Copps Coliseum. The Food & Drink Fest team is incredibly excited about The Big Move and pumped to tackle the challenges of working in an unknown building, which was built for concerts & hockey games, and not to facilitate the needs of 35 restaurants, 50 wineries and 15 craft breweries…all at once! The participating restaurants, wineries & craft breweries are happy about the move because it gives each of them more elbow room to create and represent their unique menu choices. The participating exhibitors are also happy because moving to Copps allows for larger aisle spaces so patrons can chat with the exhibitors and enjoy their food & drink without being jostled or carried away by the crowds of people. Repeat customers I have chatted with are ecstatic because the move to the larger venue eliminates the 45minute long line ups to get into the show on Friday & Saturday nights.

Jason & Erica Mills Married at The Hamilton Convention Centre
I just wanted to thank you for making our wedding a huge success. All of the staff at the Hamilton Convention Centre did a wonderful job keeping things moving and making us feel like the most important people of the evening. Our guests cannot stop talking about how much fun they had and how beautiful our wedding was. Thanks to the kitchen staff who prepared an outstanding meal and to the wait staff who took care of our every need; we have had so many comments about how great the food was.
Everything went exactly as planned, which allowed me to relax and enjoy myself. It was so nice not to have to worry about the flow of events. Looking back, I wouldn't change a single thing. I would definitely recommend the Hamilton Convention Centre to anyone looking for a fun and unique wedding that both you and your guests will never forget.
